The experience
Thirty-three years riding around the lake
For 33 years, riders from Costa Rica and around the world have gathered in Tilarán to circle Lake Arenal, between the volcano, the tropical rainforest and the country's largest lake.
It's not a race: it's a recreational, non-competitive event for the whole family. More than 3,000 riders a year share the same road at their own pace, on MTB, E-Bike, hybrid, gravel or road bikes.
Organized by ALA Eventos, with the support of the Municipality and the Sports Committee of Tilarán.

Saturday, May 29, 2027, starting and finishing in Tilarán, Guanacaste.
How much is it and what's included?
The price goes up in stages. Presale (until December 31, 2026): with jersey ₡60,000 and without jersey ₡25,000. From January 1, 2027: ₡65,000 and ₡30,000. From March 29, 2027: ₡70,000 and ₡35,000. It includes a race number, Medisport and MAPFRE insurance, 7 aid stations, ambulance, sweep transport, photos, massages, raffles and more; the jersey option adds the jersey.
What if it rains?
Normal weather conditions, such as rain, do not entitle you to a refund. Any change to the event will be announced through the official channels.
